Orange streets filled with fog. 14th November.

I live in the fens and I admit that winter has started on the first night when I'm in the car and realise that it is so foggy I can only see a metre in front of my car! Fog brings a whole mystical feeling to the fens, it excludes you from the world around you, and it also makes anything that contains light glow in strange orbs. This street was filled with slightly apocalyptic orange light as I was driving home, it had been completely transformed from the street it was in the day time. It's slightly eerie but rather beautiful.

More Mist with Campervans. 24th October.

I was driving home through the misty fenland surroundings when I saw this campervan, I quite liked it and pulled over so that I could take a quick snapshot of it against the river... it was one of those completely impromptu moments, but now I regret not crossing the road and taking a portrait of the owner who was fishing.. next time I will (if there ever is a next time!)

Rain on the Patio. 3rd June.

So today it was half way through the Jubilee holidays, and unsurprisingly the British weather decided to rain! This did not stop us brit's celebrating though, London seemed to be packed out, and many people were attending parties and hoarding into camp sites. Personally, I am hoping that the weather brightens up tomorrow.. I have two events tomorrow which I am very excited to photograph, and some glorious weather would be perfect, but if that doesn't happen I will be a brit and shoot no matter what!

Rain. 18th February.

Today's weather has not been the most agreeable! The wind and rain have been quite persistent, meaning that I have not been able to go out and shoot for my project on the industrial side of Britain, instead I have been doing general computer-based work, such as editing and working on my website.
I have two fashion shoots coming up at the start of next week, these should be good and I'm looking forward to them and working on the photos I will be taking at them. I'm also starting to research for a documentary project which I shall be exhibiting in a few months time, I will give you more information as the project develops, hoping to start shooting for it quite soon though!

The Foggy Day. 19th November.

Today was a very foggy day! So foggy that my driving test was cancelled, which was quite annoying as I had driven completely safely to the test centre, just to be told that I couldn't have my test, hopefully I'll be able to book it asap!

I went out in my town today to take some street photographs, as there are some interesting people in my town! I took this photograph and I did quite like it, although it isn't quite street photography... the foggyness of the street and the Christmas decoration make the photograph feel slightly festive... and I love feeling festive :D
