More Mist with Campervans. 24th October.

I was driving home through the misty fenland surroundings when I saw this campervan, I quite liked it and pulled over so that I could take a quick snapshot of it against the river... it was one of those completely impromptu moments, but now I regret not crossing the road and taking a portrait of the owner who was fishing.. next time I will (if there ever is a next time!)

Horses in the misty fens. 23rd October.

I went out into the fens this afternoon (morning didn't work due to time constraints, but it stayed misty all day), I took my Mamiya & Nikon and headed off to meet some horses. My original idea was to find some nice trees and landscape scenes and photograph them, but instead I found these horses who were so friendly I had to photograph them!!

Hoping to get my film developed soon, so looking forward to seeing the results.. but for now here are some shots from my DSLR:

In other news, I am off to London on Sunday as I start my time at Rankin on Monday.. pretty excited about this, I shall keep my blog very much up to date about everything which I am getting up to!

Call Centres in March. 23rd August.

I was in the fenland town of March today for a meeting, it's an interesting little town which is divided by a canal that runs right through the town centre. There are many stories which could be told by the locals, good stories and bad stories. I may go back to March sometime in the future and delve deeper into the stories of the locals.

Poppies and a Field. 27th July.

Today called for an early photo & blog post as this evening a very important event is happening in our capital city, the Olympics Opening Ceremony. I am very excited for the Olympics this summer, I may not be going to any of the events.. but I shall remain patriotic and fully backing team GB throughout the whole of the summer. 

The photo above is a place which I drive by all the time, I never stop there though... except for today! There were a whole bunch of poppies growing around the perimeters of this field, it just created a really nice scene. Sometimes it's worth stopping the car for a couple of minutes so that you can respect the wonderful scenery which surrounds you.

In over news, I am on holiday as of tomorrow.. I shall attempt to continue my daily blog posts during this time, but I apologise in advance if they are not as good as they normally are. I hope you are all enjoying the summer so far, happy holidays!

Horses and Sunsets. 24th July.

This evening there happened to be a beautiful sunset, I spied it through my window.. and then rushed off to a location which I knew would compliment a sun set. I decided to face away from the sunset and focus on a group of horses who were running around a field, they weren't the easiest thing to photograph as they were constantly moving and the amount of light was decreasing... but I finally captured this shot, which I was quite happy with.

I did have to capture a typical "picture postcard" sunset shot though, so here it is.

Pylons in the Morning. 12th November.

Ok, so today I have probably committed a photographic crime as I am using a photograph I took on my phone for my daily photo, let me explain! I went out this morning with the Bronica & my 35mm SLR to do a little bit of Landscape work as the conditions were perfect with there being a little bit of mist about. I did not take my DSLR though and I have to wait till Monday till I can develop my films! 

I have a few more plans for the Bronica over the weekend, want to shoot some portraits, maybe try a little bit of street photography as I'm in London tomorrow... so my analogue output this week will be high, but my digital output will be low! 

Film is better!
