Hills and Holes. 22nd July.

Today was one of those beautifully sunny days where it would be a crime to not go outside to enjoy the weather. My boyfriend and I ventured out to this great little nature reserve called "hills and holes", it's basically a really big field with massive bumps!

After walking round the reserve I decided that it would be a perfect place to shoot for my project on the British culture as it seems to be a haven for bird watchers and dog walkers. I also spied a very quaint looking bowling match nearby which would also make a fantastic photo.. so I shall definitely have do drive back to Barnack sometime over the summer.

Perching Pigeons. 14th May.

I was in Stamford, Linconshire today as that is where my closest reliable film processing lab is. After dropping my film off to be processed I went for a little walk around the town, it is quite a beautiful town full or narrow cobbled alleyways, large church buildings, and relaxing green spaces. I spent some time walking round the meadows where I found these two pigeons perched on a fence which overlooked the meadows. I also found a great location for my current project, so watch this space!

Moo. 27th November.

I went out for a walk today in Kirkby Underwood, a little Lincolnshire village! There's lots of fields, and trees, and animals. There was also a field full of cows which were identical, one of the cows decided it would be kind enough to pose for me, so here is it's portrait!

In other news, I am really trying to get the ball rolling on my two new portrait-documentary-projects, exciting times. Going to have an admin day tomorrow full of contacting people in relation to the project. Crazy but fun times!
