Harlaxton Manor. 6th August.

This is the wonderful manor where I am staying for the next couple of days (I will try and take a photo which justifies how grand the place is!). I spent half of today getting lost in the house and it's grounds, it is full of majestic ball rooms and conservatories, so amazing, I can't imagine myself living in a place like this though as it is so very big.

Looking through the Mirror. 5th August.

Just a quick little experimental edit today.. it's half a self portrait, sometimes I wish I could escape back to big city life as it seems so much more vibrant than life in my quiet little town. But I have to remember that living in small towns can help me focus on small details which I would not have time to notice in a large buzzing city. 

Also, well done Ussain Bolt, he is such a fast man! Hoping to get to the Paralympics or the Olympics some time this summer as it would be such a great atmosphere to photograph.

Night Flowers. 4th August.

I am still very much in holiday mode! After spending a week camping and working with children aged 5-6 I am having a quick weekend at home before I go away again for a couple of days. Holiday-mode doesn't mean that I've stopped taking photos, it just means that I relax a little bit and let my creative brain recharge. 

I intend on getting stuck into some projects when I get back, so look out for them when I get back.. but for now I shall continue to post my daily photos and small snippets of inspiration.
