Ferret Photos. 23rd April.

Today my family adopted 4 ferrets, I have previously had 6 but sadly they all died. I love ferrets as they all have great little unique personalities, they are also great pets as they are easy to look after and do bond with their owners. Expect more photographs of these beauties as they are rather photogenic creatures (when they are not moving).

This Is City Life - Fashion Editorial.

I had an Editorial fashion shoot in London around Southbank yesterday, it was a great shoot and I got to work with one of my favourite models, Micah Holmes. The weather was perfect for a location shoot,  it's always a bit hit and miss in the UK when you're shooting on location! The Editorial is titled "This Is City Life" and it's looking at all the different styles and people that you find in the city. I'd like to shoot a sequel to this Editorial looking at more styles.

Antique day in Whittlesey.

Today was the antique market/auction day in Whittlesey, this is held periodically in Whittlesey town square (also known as the Buttercross). Interested locals come along, brows the stalls and wait for their favourite lots to come up so they can buy a nice little table for a tenner.

Street Dogs.

One of my ongoing side projects is called "Street Dogs". I photograph dogs I meet when I'm out and about, the dogs that are tied to posts while their owners nip into the bank. All the dogs react differently to me, a stranger, with a big camera... some are interested, some growl, and some have no care in the world.

Photos on the streets of Peterborough.

I went into Peterborough today to meet a couple of friends I used to go to college today, between the chit chat, drinks, and shock at the price of bus fares I took my camera out and captured a couple of moments. Peterborough's not a bad city for street photography, it's right on my doorstep, but I find it hard to photograph as I know it so well.. I need to get out of my mindset that I need to go to London to take good street photos!

The Quote - Ansel Adams

I had a moment of inspiration tonight and created this short video to accompany a quote made by one of my favourite photographers - Ansel Adams. I might do a series of short films accompanying quotes that I find interesting/inspiring... I have a bit of a love for artistic videos.
